"I do a lot of things, so I knew my brand photos needed to communicate both range and a cohesive narrative. I wanted the ability to use these photos across multiple platforms without worrying about it fitting the aesthetic and brand. But I thought it wasn't possible and that the concept was too messy to capture.

So I was ready to settle on the idea of having 3 x industry-specific brand shoots that looked "clear" but also generic... until I saw Esther's work 😭 She prioritises telling people's stories and big ideas over just "looking professional", and has SUCH a talented eye for capturing in-the-moment energy. My brand photos feel like memories she 'froze in time' - I can go back to the exact moment she captured just by looking at them.

I'm also awkward when people take photos of me, but her direction took the pressure off of posing and let me just lean into being myself. And she really took into account how and where I would use these photos - I remember some shots were taken at a specific angle so I can put text over it and would be usable across social media posts
